Great job Mill Creek!

Whenever we work on a new project as a church, I always wonder if people will "get it" and support what we are trying.  This past project of raising back to school supplies for Mexico was one of those.  Communicating vision through the summer is tough and it looked like we were going to be a little thin.

But, if you took a peek on Sunday, that front closet was jammed full of supplies and shoes!  Great job and thank you for supporting Francisco and Rosa.  They were very excited and Francisco is already talking about what more he will be able to do this year because of your generosity.  Thank you for helping and giving!

It was so cool to look out Sunday and see so many "Pray for Juarez" shirts and even a little rain at lunch couldn't really dampen our energy.  I hope that you got a small taste of the heart of two incredible people.  They are great examples of what it means to listen when God is talking!

Camp Highlights

Back to School

And every parent sings "Hallelujah"!  Back to school today for our Rochester students and teachers, the rest of our local schools start in the next weeks.  Did you know that there are 9 school systems represented by our families at Mill Creek?  Did you know we have almost 30 people involved at Mill Creek who work in local schools as teachers, staff, coaches, drivers, etc?

Every time you drive by a school, a bus, or other reminder, say a prayer for those who work with students.  Pray that God's light and love could shine through their lives.

We will recognize and pray for all of our staff on Sunday August 21.  We will also present each one with a nice gift that we hope shows in some small ways how much we love what you do!
